Urgent Expert Hearing on Plasmid DNA in C-19 mRNA Vaccines: Everything You Need to Know
It’s not just an mRNA shot! Critical insights and clips from Monday's four-hour emergency hearing on the discovery of plasmid DNA in Covid-19 vaccines.
Written by World Council for Health Correspondent Alice Ashwell, PhD.
“I believe history books of the future—and this is only if they're written with integrity and honesty—will document this as the most mismanaged health crisis of our time … we need to have a worldwide moratorium on these modified mRNA technologies for use as potential vaccines … ” - Associate Professor Byram Bridle
Gathering the experts
In April 2023, Kevin McKernan broke the shocking news of his discovery of the presence of significant contamination by DNA plasmids in vials of Covid-19 ‘vaccines’ manufactured by Pfizer and Moderna.
In response, on 9 October 2023, the World Council for Health (WCH) hosted an emergency hearing involving nine leading experts to determine what is currently known about this issue, and to discuss the implications of the possible integration of this DNA into the genomes of the billions of human beings injected with these gene-based products.

The intense four-hour session was hosted by WCH Steering Committee members Christof Plothe, DO and Dr Mark Trozzi, and heard from:
Dr Kevin McKernan, previously the Research and Development team leader for the Human Genome Project, who discovered the presence of plasmid DNA in the Covid shots
Dr Janci Lindsay, Director of Toxicology and Molecular Biology for Toxicology Support Services
Emeritus Professor Sucharit Bhakdi, specialist in microbiology and infectious disease epidemiology
Professor Alexandra Henrion-Caude, specialist in epigenetics and previous Director of Research at the French National Institute of Health
Associate Professor Byram Bridle, viral immunology specialist from the University of Guelph
Dr Peter McCullough, Internist, cardiologist, epidemiologist, and Chief Scientific Officer of the Wellness Company
Professor Brigitte König, specialist in medical microbiology and infectious immunology at the University of Magdeburg
Dr Jessica Rose, who has been using her knowledge of molecular biology, biochemistry and computational biology to investigate vaccine adverse events databases
Katie Ashby-Koppens, a civil litigator working in Australia and New Zealand, involved with various class actions, including a current injunction application against Pfizer and Moderna
It’s not just an mRNA shot!
Appropriately, the first presentation was by Kevin McKernan who explained that he had sequenced nucleic acid in Moderna and Pfizer vials and found that as much as 35% was DNA from bacterial plasmids. This finding has since been confirmed by various other laboratories, including in the USA, Japan, France, and Germany, with a recent study finding DNA in all 24 vials tested.
To be clear, there should be NO DNA present in the vials at all!
Kevin also noted that regulators had been misled as to the levels of DNA contamination, as the assay used did not detect the very large number of small fragments of DNA present, which may have a higher propensity for being inserted into the recipient’s DNA.
Dr Jessica Rose’s well-illustrated presentation is an excellent starting point for anyone wanting an overview of the DNA contamination issue.
Jessica explained that, while the clinical trials of the Covid shots had used a PCR-based process to manufacture the mRNA, this method was not suitable for mass production. A completely different approach was needed to produce the billions of mRNA shots that were rolled out to the public.
In this case, the process used the bacterium E. coli to produce DNA plasmids (circular, double-stranded DNA), which in turn produced the mRNA. Unfortunately, the DNA was not satisfactorily removed after manufacture, resulting in high levels of contamination. The manufacturers did not disclose to the public the fact that different production methods (associated with different risks) had been used; consequently, there could be no possibility of informed consent.
What are the implications of plasmid DNA in the shots?
The presence of plasmid DNA in the Covid shots introduces risks, such as the possible presence of bacterial endotoxin, which may cause anaphylaxis. Ironically, this effect is exacerbated by the spike protein that the ‘vaccine’ was developed to produce.
Furthermore, if plasmid DNA is able to enter the nucleus, there is a risk that it may be incorporated into the recipient’s DNA.
As noted by Prof Alexandra Henrion-Caude, DNA can enter the nucleus during cell division when the nuclear membrane disassembles; but worryingly, there are at least five ways in which contaminant DNA can enter the intact nucleus. The most obvious mechanism is the lipid nanoparticle (LNP) which encapsulates the nucleic acid in the shots. In addition to enabling the nucleic acid to cross the cell and nuclear membranes, it acts as a Trojan horse protecting the mRNA and DNA from destruction by enzymes in the cell.
While Pfizer disclosed the presence of the gene for the S2 component of the Spike Protein in the plasmid map provided to the regulators, they omitted other significant sequences identified by McKernan, including:
The SV40 promoter: if this sequence is incorporated into the human genome next to a cancer gene, it may initiate cancer expression.
The SV40 enhancer: this enables DNA introduced into the cell to be transported rapidly into the nucleus, where it may be incorporated into the host genome.
An antibiotic resistance gene: this may confer antibiotic resistance to the host, which could have fatal consequences.
Vaccine adverse events
Despite far fewer people now receiving the Covid shots, the number of reports of adverse events continues to rise. Dr Peter McCullough identified four domains of adverse events, namely cardiovascular, neurological, immunologic, and—the one that may be most directly influenced by DNA contamination—oncogenesis.
Indeed, the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) is now reporting large numbers of cancer cases, including rapidly developing ‘turbo cancers’.
Dr Janci Lindsay identified various ways in which the shots may be triggering cancers, including the role of LNPs, the SV40 promoter, and even the spike protein. DNA contamination would play a significant role in most of these mechanisms.
Regarding the risk of cancer, Dr McCullough referred to the ‘multi-hit hypothesis’, which includes the following mechanisms of action: DNA contamination causing increased mutagenesis; modified RNA in the shots presenting a chronic insult to the innate immune system; and inhibition of the tumour suppressor genes, p53 and BRCA1.
Listen to Peter express his concerns about how multiple Covid shots may be triggering the expression of cancers:
Calls to action
While the discovery of the contamination of the mRNA ‘vaccines’ with DNA has been an enormous shock, it is also proving to be a new focus for research, collaboration, and action. It may also represent a tipping-point, as people injured by the mRNA products come to realise the extent of contamination.
This meeting of minds was an opportunity not only to consolidate what we have learnt in the few short months since the publication of McKernan’s findings, but also to deeply appreciate the team that is coalescing in response to the challenge.
Already this gathering has served as an opportunity to share initiatives and resources:
Kevin McKernan has made his primer sequences available so that other labs can replicate the work. He is currently manufacturing kits to enable pathologists to test tissues, and these will be available in late November.
Prof Brigitte König is developing assays that are available to the research community for analysis of spike protein, vaccine-derived mRNA, and plasmids.
Dr Jessica Rose is planning to build up the dataset of sequenced vials and correlate these with what is being observed in pharmacovigilance databases. She also plans to investigate the integration of plasmid components into stem cells or germline cells using Kevin’s protocols.
Assoc Prof Byram Bridle pointed out that the presence of contaminants in the mRNA ‘vaccines’ was an opportunity for legal action against the manufacturers, as the US Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act (2005) does not guarantee immunity from prosecution should a drug be found to contain a contaminant.
Katie Ashby-Koppens is bringing a case in Australia, seeking to use GMO regulations to stop Moderna and Pfizer dealing in their mRNA products, and challenging the Australian regulators to take responsibility to test these products for contamination and ensure their safety, as they are paid to do.
The World Council for Health has established a webpage where relevant resources will be available. They will also be developing a specific newsletter to keep everyone informed and support practical action.
Concluding Comments
Dr Mark Trozzi and Christof Plothe, DO concluded the meeting with a statement of intent:
There should be an immediate stop to the injections.
The relevant regulatory bodies should undertake public investigations into the Covid-19 countermeasures; if they do not undertake this, they themselves should be investigated.
Tests should be available to the public to detect circulating spike proteins and genomic integration.
Treatment (spike detox) and compensation of victims must be made available. The WCH provides various treatments on its website.
The level of criminality relating to the Covid-19 event cannot be ignored. Investigation, prosecution, reconciliation, and compensation must follow.
Education of health care workers and the public is needed. The knowledge shared in this session must be made available so that the injections can be stopped.
Censored experts should be restored to their positions. They can lead the way to a better future.
The last words belong to Dr Jessica Rose, who spoke for everyone when she concluded:
“I feel really grateful to be among you guys—that we’re doing this, that we’re persisting. It’s such high-quality work that we’re bringing to the public together. It’s the only thing we can do, and I think we’re doing a great job considering what we’re up against. I think this will reach a lot of people. If there is going to be a turning point away from the normalisation of this platform, this is a good one. I appreciate being involved and really hope that this will open the eyes of the many important people we need, so we can turn this around and help people, because a lot of people need it.”
