Dr. Lawrie, I wanted to mention a concept I call "downward amplification." It is the process of development or growth that takes into account power differentials in organizations (such as families or governments) over time.
Downward amplification is why leaders can't express personally "innocent" feelings/biases. For example, express racist feelings or espouse non-factual opinions about "catastrophic" climate change, as their private beliefs.
People under their power will be "infected" by these beliefs, which will take on a life of its own because of the power differential in an organization such as civil society.
This is also why equating Satanism as an equally protected and publicly represented religion before the law, equal to "Christmas celebrations," is a mistake because of downward amplification. The consequences that manifest and develop through the social order downstream of "power" are not beneficial to the powerless and young.
Yes, I'm sure there is a level of influence outside the mission but for me I would go the other way. Instead of being even more like the politicians of today, being straight-jacketed into towing the line, as a leader, how about cultivating discernment in your audience? Wouldn't we be treating them as weak and programmable software otherwise? Imagine being in the middle of a speech and thinking "just one mistake and the crop is ruined!!!" Avoiding errors would dramatically constrain powerful leadership, prioritising non-errors over powerful moves.
I'm not a leader (although you can check my substack if you want to see me tear down the MHRA) but I Iike the mindset of giving people what they need instead of hiding the bad bits of myself from them although that doesn't mean I would have a license to inflict capriciousness. For example, if someone is opinionated, offer them diplomacy. If someone is shy and retiring, offer them a voice. If someone is impressionable, offer them discernment. Help them with what they need. I would not want a leader who is not free of mind because they are too frightened of the audience. Mistakes will be made, that's why it is human to forgive.

Establishing the fear-of-death in the thought process of humans is the greatest mind control ever. 99.99% of the world's humans will do anything to alleviate this fear. That means listening to idiotic experts, persons of presumed authority and the clown show of buffoons (global ingrates) all who know absolutely nothing.
This is the easiest of all fears to ignite and push to the extreme. No one on the planet, past or present knows with 100% certainty what happens after death. Even if they think they know, they still will avoid death at all costs in most cases. That opens the mind to easy manipulation.
