I recommend using iodine topically - that way you don't have to worry about not taking it with vitamin C and you have a visual idea of how much iodine your body is needing at any given time. Just rotate the spots that you 'paint' it on.

Linseed oil seems to be an outlier, the Omega3 to Omega6 ratio is more favourable and so does not damage health to the same extent as other seed oils.
Olive, avocado and coconut oils are also less dangerous.
