The sudden and unexpected loss of Michèle Rivasi, a dedicated Member of the European Parliament (MEP), has left a void in the fight for biodiversity, health, and transparency.
Rivasi was known for her unwavering commitment to truth and justice, particularly in the realms of vaccines, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and electromagnetic fields. Her courageous stance in questioning established norms and demanding transparency has left an indelible mark on Europe and beyond.
In a small café in Paris, I had the privilege of meeting Michèle Rivasi, who invited me to discuss the pressing concerns surrounding the heavily promoted HPV vaccine. It was refreshing to encounter an independent voice in the political landscape, unafraid to ask important questions about vaccines, environmental toxins, and EMF. Little did we know at the time that society would face even greater challenges in the years to come, particularly during the COVID-19 era.
Rivasi's authenticity, curiosity, deep knowledge, and common sense were truly inspiring. She possessed a rare capacity to listen and was a powerhouse when it came to demanding transparency and upholding human rights.
In recent years, Michèle Rivasi played a pivotal role in the EU Parliament's battle for the release of text messages between Ursula von der Leyen and Pfizer. Her relentless efforts led to a public prosecutor investigation into these secretive communications. Rivasi firmly believed that the truth should be accessible to all, and her determination to shed light on potential corruption scandals resonated with many.
Her last public statement addressed the surplus of vaccines and the wasted billions of euros due to the lack of transparency surrounding the Pfizer-EU Commission contract. Rivasi advocated for an end to the opacity surrounding such deals, demanding accountability on behalf of European taxpayers.
Michèle Rivasi's activism extended far beyond the realm of vaccines and pharmaceuticals. She fought against the introduction of COVID vaccination certificates and compulsory vaccinations, showcasing her unwavering commitment to personal freedom and informed consent. Throughout her remarkable career, she also led campaigns against carcinogenic substances like glyphosate and trade agreements such as Mercosur. Rivasi's dedication to defending the rights of individuals was unwavering, even when she faced opposition from her own party and the EU Parliament.
At the age of 70, Michèle Rivasi remained steadfast in defending her views, particularly during the COVID crisis. She championed the restoration of freedom for healthcare workers and others who faced the prospect of losing their jobs and receiving no compensation if they refused experimental vaccinations. Rivasi's integrity and commitment to vaccine freedom and informed consent were unparalleled. Her founding of CRIIRAD, following the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, further exemplified her dedication to environmental issues and the well-being of society.
Michèle Rivasi's legacy as a champion for biodiversity, health, and transparency will continue to inspire generations to come. Her tireless pursuit of truth, justice, and human rights serves as a reminder of the importance of challenging established norms and demanding transparency from those in power. Rivasi's fight for vaccine freedom and informed consent reflects her deep conviction in the power of choice and the need for transparent, objective information.
As we remember and honor her, let us carry forward her legacy by continuing to question, challenge, and advocate for a more transparent and just society.
