Meet the Good Doctor Taking St Lucia’s Professional Medical Body to Task
Dr Mary Gilbertha St. Rose had her medical licence suspended by the Medical and Dental Council (Saint Lucia, W.I.) for treating Covid-19 patients with ivermectin. She’s fighting back.
Around the globe, many health practitioners and medical professionals have been punished by their professional bodies for refusing to toe the line on treating Covid-19, and for highlighting the risks of Covid-19 genetic injections.
One of these is Dr Mary Gilbertha St. Rose. An Integrative Health Care Practitioner, General Practitioner, Dermatologist and Consultant Medical Herbalist, Dr St Rose has practised medicine for well over forty years.
She is also a member of WCH Coalition Partner Conscious Health Caribbean, and also The Freedom Coalition of St Lucia. Her experience of the last couple of years lays bare the systemic problems in medical practice, not just in St. Lucia, but in many countries around the world.
Here’s her story…
“In March 2020 when the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a pandemic due to Covid-19 infection, I thought it an opportune time to encourage our people to adopt heathy lifestyles and augment their immune systems with also foods, supplements and herbs. To my astonishment and dismay this was not forthcoming from our health authorities and preparations for administering Covid-19 injections was touted as the only way out of the pandemic.
“I was convinced from the outset that this was not the better way and commenced my research.”
This research led her to ivermectin and the evidence that this safe, repurposed drug is an effective treatment for Covid-19. She began to prescribe it for her patients, and shared the good news with staff, family, colleagues and St Lucia’s health authorities.
Despite her patients experiencing dramatic healing from the infection and the mounting evidence to support its use, the Chief Medical Officer warned the public that ivermectin would make them sick.
This did not deter Dr St. Rose, who continued to prescribe ivermectin as an off-label drug. She decided to import ivermectin and to her astonishment, the Ministry of Health and Wellness refused to authorise its clearance from customs.
As Dr St. Rose explains:
“We as Dermatologists and other doctors too have used ivermectin for scabies, head lice rosacea and parasitic infections in patients and the drug had been imported into Saint Lucia for years. There is no new legislation prohibiting the importation or use of ivermectin.”
While the first shipment was eventually released, the second has languished in customs for months. Dr St. Rose notes that:
“It has been verified that a private pharmacy must have been allowed to import ivermectin for humans. It retails at EC$18.00 for a 3 mg tablet. The average dose of ivermectin needed to treat Covid-19 infection is 12 mg. At least two doses are needed. Some clinicians prescribe daily doses for 5 days. Dose is calculated as 0.2mg to 0.6mg per kilogram body weight; total dose required therefore will vary with weight and severity of illness. Ivermectin is still manufactured at a few cents per 12mg tablet.”
In August 2021, the Chief Medical Officer wrote to the Medical and Dental Council (St Lucia, W.I.) (MDC), complaining about Dr St. Rose’s advocacy and use of ivermectin. That December, the MDC resolved to suspend her license to practice medicine, also fining her EC$10,000 for carrying out an unauthorised clinical trial – something she never did.
Dr St. Rose rightly refused to accept this outcome and filed for Judicial Review of the MDC’s decision. She continued to practice as a herbalist until a hearing on 18 February, 2022, when the judge ruled that Dr St. Rose’s licence and registration as a medical practitioner and dermatologist be reinstated.
Since then, she has been practicing fully, and working to educate the public as to the benefits of ivermectin, and the risks of the Covid-19 injections.
“Our very resilient people have learnt how to prevent and fight Covid infection with the help of supplements and herbs. The Ministry of Health allowed my importation of our herbal ivermectin, artemisia annua (wormwood), and this is very efficacious against Covid infection. In addition, I have privately labelled elderberry gummies for my people as an efficient additional form of immune support for prevention.”
Her hope is that this court action will educate the MDC in recognising the illegality of its actions and its grave error in continuing to promote harmful Covid injections to the men, women and children of St Lucia.
However, almost two years on, she also points out the “waste of taxpayer monies, uneconomical use of the judicial system, and the wasted time of professionals.” Slowly do the wheels of justice turn.
Last Thursday, the latest hearing of her case concluded with the judgment of the court reserved pending written closing submissions, to be filed by 28 February.
As Dr St. Rose says,
“We are dealing with a case of medical tyranny here…a need to dictate what doctors should prescribe, without consultation with us and without examination of the science and truth There is also the issue of depriving people of what is good for them and what they may choose to use for their personal healthcare. Worst of all, our health authorities are doing so illegally.”
This is particularly concerning in the wider context of the WHO’s push for a global pandemic treaty that would give this unelected organisation unprecedented power to call pandemics and mandate measures such as lockdowns, masks and medications, including so-called ‘vaccines’.
Dr St. Rose says,
“I have suggested that the Government take us out of this now proven corrupt WHO, which is heavily funded by Big Pharma, and which is widely influenced bt the World Economic Forum. There is still time for us to redeem ourselves. We can either join our African brothers and sisters in mounting resistance to the proposed Treaty, or we can quit the WHO now, before the Treaty goes into effect.”
Dr St. Rose’s efforts to hold the MDC accountable are helping to raise public awareness of these issues, reminding everyone that they have a right to effective treatments, to freedom of movement and bodily autonomy, and to informed consent.
She takes an enlightened and positive view of her over two-year ordeal:
“I am thankful for the experience. It has helped me to find my inner strength, deeper Faith in God, experience the love and support of family, friends, my staff, some colleagues, patients and so many other well-wishers who are awake to the depth and breadth of these occurrences… and that we are in this together. I am grateful for the many individual groups and associations that I have become a part of for spiritual, social and professional upliftment… I will be continually grateful.
Most importantly it is encouraging and edifying to be a part of World Council for Health as we forge a better way together.”
Thank you Dr St. Rose for standing up to medical tyranny! All of us at World Council for Health stand with you, and all doctors honouring their oath and speaking truth to power.

Artemisia annua whole herb cures drug resistant malaria. Professor Pamela weathers has written and published many research papers on the subject. Ivermectin is also mosquitocidial. Imagine curing malaria and SARS at the same time!!
