I feel that WCH could do more in terms of innovation. A general advocacy group is needed but the existing supporters of the health freedom movement don't really get anything out of it.
People who follow and pay for Pierre Kory or the Midwestern Doctor learn something new with almost every publication. WCH rarely publishes anything that is not already common knowledge in the movement. One can be a paid subscriber at WCH but to get the PDF guides one would have to pay again. You had some innovative speakers at the conferences. Have them publish some articles and research. Something that people can use. If the subscribers of this substack feel that they gain new knowledge and direct benefits then fundraising will be much easier.
yes. unfortunately i am at this moment also close to shutting my financial doors. my bank account was re-opened today after 10 days of being closed for having been overdrawn. my credit including card is below limit and unpaid. i have a claim against me from another loc. as i wrote about, unexpected pace make surgery last year — well, who would actually expect that! —cleaned me out financially and the effect of that caught up with me a few months ago when i stopped my legally obligated alimony payment. (not a complaint! my muscle testing, i ching and synchronicities assure me that this is a seriously deep yoga practice for me to heal a really toxic relationship i had with money arising from a narcissistic family's hypocritical relationship with money. monetary equanimity is the thing to deepen the meaningful connection to being alive.) there are 'things' in the works here that may change that situation soon. as for now, my credit card situation has seen my recent substack renewal subscription payments failing. so...
for now, prayers are what i have to offer. and those you have.
I have to add that we're all feeling fatigue, economic pressure, and uncertainty. That's why now is so important. If this door closes, we've surrendered. Even a tiny donation would be practically and spiritually uplifting for those whose dedication and call to serve has been indefatigable under the most challenging conditions.
It's down to us, folks. Nobody from our governments or standard medical and "insurance" corporations is going to help us. What an extraordinary value a donation to WCH would be, in the face of what's been forcibly squeezed out of us from a system that doesn't foster health.
To subscribe to The World Council for Health costs about the same as a cup and a half of coffee each month. One can subscribe for as little as £4 per month, which allows one to comment. It cannot be more than 5 dollars per month or 4.5 Euros. Most people can afford this sort of 'loss' if GAINING the beginnings of an alternative to the depraved, corporately funded (as well as by us! who are not in the USA!) WHO and it's many willing ignorant or otherwise minions. Indirectly it's costing the worlds taxpayer Millions in different currencies, to send 'experts', and not such experts to vote on medical procedures for illnesses that can well be dealt with at the personal level and if more severe, then by local doctors, yet all of us, the world over have not agreed to the cost of sending these people, some in the pay of big corporations, or coerced or otherwise convinced to vote for the WHO to decide WHAT is a pandemic and what medications MUST be taken, and whether there needs be another lockdown, all to be adjudged by only ONE person... the head of the WHO!!! We cannot allow such insanities.
There's an organisation called 'Go Fund Me'. Would they be any good to raise money if not enough people subscribe?
It might be a good idea to put an article in The Light newspaper, which is widely distributed free by volunteers in the UK.... www.thelightpaper.co.uk
Blessings and thank you to all of you who work in W.C.H
I've just entered the email address you mail me on - twice - Nothing. I used my other address (just in case ) - Nothing. My payment goes out each month around the 28th to WCH Somerset.
The charity model where funders and beneficiaries are separate groups of people is struggling at the moment, WCH is far from alone in this. Wealthy donors are still giving, and WCH might get lucky there, but small individual donations have dropped a lot since WCH was set up, about 50% in real terms since 2022 on a couple of donation platforms that I track; people are having to cut back as their real disposable incomes collapse. In the US in particular the temporary tax reliefs on charity donations for low/middle income donors from 2020-21 were not extended, so these days in practice it's really only high income US donors who will get tax relief from WCH's 501(c)(3).
People will gladly pay (quite a lot, if they need to) for solutions to immediate problems in their lives, and idealistic organisations are going to have to operate more like businesses than charities. diabetes.co.uk is one inspiring example with its patient-centred approach, its low cost base, high organic search engine ranking and emphasis on user-generated content although theirs is not the only way.
It may even be worth reconsidering some kind of advertising/corporate sponsorship, the problem is not business interests as such, it's more the government-granted liability waivers and government-granted monopolies through pharma patents, the latter providing financial incentives that are very poorly aligned with patient needs.
With Tess's CRO background maybe there is scope for developing infrastructure for ensuring quality in low-cost crowdfunded distributed trials of repurposed drugs? That is a cause that could win public support, in much the same way as people raise money for cancer charities because they or a friend have cancer, despite the very low impact for patients of most current oncology drug development funding.
Unfortunately, I cannot donate since i have am already donating to another charity here in Germany that is supporting a Buddhist monastery in India. We are living in challenging times. Perhaps we have to give up on trying to make others aware of certain health risks. It is really a tricky issue.
Thank you, Triplegem. Challenging times indeed. For WCH it's not about giving up - the work we do has real, life-changing and life-saving impact, we see this every day. We will keep going because it's worth it.
The World Council for Health once collaborated with over 190 organizations across 45 countries, influencing grassroots health policy reform. Their detox guide has even been cited in alternative health protocols globally.
Have donated £50. Keep up the good work. We love you Tess and we love the World Council for Health. God Bless you xxxxxc

Thank you so much for what you do! Just subscribed monthly.
I am a monthly recurring donor. How can I double the amount I pay to WCH ?
You can do this via the donor dashboard here: worldcouncilforhealth.org/donor-dashboard
Thank you!

Sorry you're having trouble Alan, I will look into this and get back to you.

Some great observations and ideas here, thank you so much.
Just became a founding member, I hope you can stay open, we love your work!
Thank you so much Laura, really appreciate your support.
Best wishes to you and your team
I have started the annual subscription for WCH substack. Thanks for all you do.
Thank you Miriam

Happy to donate! Is the drop down arrow for currency selection working? I cannot select USD.
Thank you Anita. Unfortunately not - if you donate in pounds, this should just convert from your currency into pounds.
